"So let my door disclose
to readers what I see, able to take them
to my spirit's home, a weathered hallmark showing
how I live, think, grieve, compose."

F.G. Capitanio is an emerging author, poet, and novelist. A recent Cum Laude graduate of Bridgewater State College, he has a bachelor's degree in History and English. His poetry has won honorable mention in the Utmost Christian Writers Foundation 2006 Poetry Competition. He has been published in the 2006 edition of the Gold Crown Award-winning literary journal The Bridge, the April 2007 edition of SP Quill Quarterly, Apollo's Lyre, the SP Quill 2009 Poetry Anthology and the book Divine Intervention, published by Tharseo Publishing. His first book, a Young Adults murder mystery entitled Mariner's Hollow, has finally made it through the editing phase and is being considered for representation. He's also finished a second novel, which is a comedy of errors by the name of Very Bad Things, and is now working on a suspense novel. He lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where he keeps himself involved in local writer's workshops along with the gratuitous suffering endured at the hands of the obligatory aspiring writer's day job.

More news as I've just posted my short story, The Call of Glaucus, in the Contents section, and added some links to a couple poems of mine that are online. I've pretty much completed the first part of my four part mystery, Justice Worth and the House on Atlas Falls. I've outlined the second part and am ready to begin putting it to writing. 40 pages in, I'm excited that it's actually beginning to look like a book at last. Wish me luck as the real nitty gritty of writing, the business end of it all, begins. More updates to come!
